Administration Assistant - Parkes
Permanent Part Time - 35 hours per week
Neighbourhood Central Ltd. is a not-for-profit community-based organisation committed to providing quality support services to the community.
We are looking for a part-time Administration Assistant with a friendly, proactive disposition and great work ethic to join our team.
This position involves working from reception. You will provide support to office visitors, volunteers, other employees, managers and other stakeholders by handling a variety of tasks in order to ensure that all interactions between the organisation and others are positive and productive.
The position will also encompass the coordination the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). The CVS arranges volunteer visits to older people to provide friendship and companionship. Visits are available to anyone receiving government-subsidised residential aged care or Home Care Packages.
The role requires excellent reception, administration, communication and organisational skills. High attention to detail, the ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality is crucial to your success in this position.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a ‘Police Criminal Record Check’ and medical clearance prior to commencement of employment.
Conditions of employment are under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.

Aged Care Casual Support Workers

We currently have an opportunity for casual Support Workers to join our team in the delivery of a range of home care services to our home-based elderly clients living in Parkes and Forbes.
We are seeking friendly, compassionate, client-focused individuals who want a career where they can truly make a difference to the lives of others.
The role involves:
Ideally, the applicants will have, or are working towards a Certificate III Individual Support (Aged Care) or similar, and have a current first aid certificate. In addition, applicants must have a current drivers licence and own a reliable and suitable vehicle.
It is a condition of engagement for a role within Neighbourhood Central that staff be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination status or have an approved medial contraindication certificate. This is based on our current Work, Health and Safety (WHS) requirements, and in line with our Mandatory Vaccination Policy. Any relevant medical circumstances impacting on the ability to obtain a COVID-19 vaccination will be considered.
